Dear Friends,
I’m so excited to share my most personal album yet, Louisiana Love – coming May 2026.
In my family, history has always been passed down through oral tradition—recipes, stories, and songs shared at the kitchen table. That responsibility has always belonged to the eldest daughter.
My grandmother was the keeper of our stories, and when she passed, that role became mine.
Now, as a mother, I know one day it will be my daughter’s gift to carry forward.
After Hurricane Katrina, we lost so many of the things that held our family together—photos, heirlooms, the fabric of memory. I realized I needed to create something lasting: a time capsule to preserve what could no longer be seen but could still be felt and heard.
That is the heart of Louisiana Love.
“My debut album will be a living tapestry woven from the songs, stories, and rhythms that define eight generations of family in Louisiana. It carries the voices of our culture: Creole French lullabies, the chants of Mardi Gras Indians, the fire of zydeco, the sway of Cajun fiddle, the call of gospel, New Orleans jazz, and the celebration of brass bands.
Together they form a fabric strong enough to hold the weight of our memories and yet is light enough to carry joy into the future.”

I am born and raised in New Orleans, and I am a native daughter of Louisiana.
This record is a love letter to both, a celebration of who we are, and a capsule for what must never be lost again.
Through Louisiana Love, I'll honor my family’s traditions while uncovering deeper layers of our shared heritage.
Music is the common thread— celebrating who we are, remembering what we’ve lost, and ensuring our spirit carries forward.
